Kimberly Bryant

Technologist Kimberly Bryant has had a fairly diverse career, working in electrical engineering early on, biotechnology at the Genentech corporation, and in pharmaceutical companies such as Merck.
In 2011, Bryant founded Black Girls Code, a training organization dedicated to rectifying under-representation of African-American girls in technology by teaching them software development. In 2013, Business Insider listed her among the 25 most influential African-Americans in technology, at #19.
