Al Zollar

In 2011, Alfred Zollar was named one of 50 distinguished alumni at the University of California, where he had earned a mathematics degree in hopes the universal nature of math would allow him to branch out into something he was passionate for.
His career began in 1977, when he joined the prestigious software company IBM and took on more and more responsibility over the decades, becoming General Manager of the Lotus and Tivoli softwares as IBM bought up the respective companies. He spent 34 years with IBM before retiring in 2011.

Zollar is a board member of RedHat, Nasdaq, and an executive partner at the tech company Siris.
