Ajay Bhatt

Computer architect Ajay Bhatt is commonly credited as the mind behind the universal serial bus (USB). He also brainstormed the PCI and AGP ports found on circuit boards, among the 132 patents he holds worldwide.
Bhatt is Intel’s chief I/O (input-output) architect, and manages next-generation software. Currently, he is also working with nearly three dozen different companies to standardize stylus pens, allowing all these companies to work under one common, universal technology.
