Window Snyder has held positions in such organizations as, among others, Microsoft, Mozilla, Apple, and Intel, typically as a security strategist and/or director. She was the security lead on a Windows XP service pack and Windows Server 2003, and founded the Blue Hat Microsoft Hacker Conference and the security company Matasano. Snyder has, in recent years, been a keynote speaker at several information security-related events, most recently Linux’s Open Source Summit.
